“Fit to label stock” trims each label to its content and scales it onto your roll size — handy for thermal printers.

Codes are read from each label’s own text — “SKU: …” lines or Amazon ASIN/FNSKU codes (B0…/X00…). The filter keeps only labels whose text contains what you type.

Upload the FBA label sheet PDF you print for Amazon — grids like 3×8 on A4. The grid is detected from the white gutters, every label becomes its own page, and empty cells on partial sheets are skipped. Split by ASIN to get one file per product.

From A4 grids to single labels

Seller Central gives you FNSKU labels as a grid: twenty-four or forty to an A4 sheet. That suits sticker paper, but a thermal printer wants one label per page, and part-used sheets waste stock. The splitter reads the white gutters between labels on the fullest page in your file, applies that grid to every page, and skips blank cells so nothing empty reaches your printer.

Split an FBA sheet in three steps

  1. Download the label sheet from Seller Central — FBA shipment labels or the product label print page.
  2. Drop it in above and check the orange grid in the preview: the lines should fall in the gutters, not through any label.
  3. Press Split all labels, or Split by product to get one PDF per ASIN. The button shows which code it found before you click.

Label sizes Amazon accepts

Amazon accepts FNSKU labels roughly between 25 × 48 mm and 51 × 102 mm. In India most sellers use 50 × 25 mm thermal stickers, or A4 sheets of 24 or 40. Use More options → Fit to label stock to force your exact sticker size — the label is trimmed of white margin and centred with a quiet zone so the barcode never runs to the edge.

Keeping FNSKU barcodes scannable

Cutting is vector-based: nothing is re-photographed or re-rasterised, so the barcode you print is exactly the one Amazon generated. What ruins scannability is everything after that — print at 100% / Actual size, never "fit to page"; use a laser or thermal printer rather than an inkjet, whose ink bleeds into the bars; and never place tape or a carton seam over the barcode. A quick check before a big run: scan one printed label with any phone barcode app. If your phone reads it, the warehouse scanner will too.

Common problems and fixes

The grid detected the wrong number of rows or columns. Untick auto in More options and type the rows and columns yourself — the preview updates instantly.

Split by product is disabled. The sheet has no selectable text, so no ASIN can be read. Splitting still works; grouping does not.

My sheet is only half full. Blank cells are skipped by default, so a partial sheet produces only the labels that exist.

Working with shipping labels rather than product barcodes? Use the Amazon Easy Ship Label Cropper. Any other grid layout, from any source, works in the PDF Label Splitter.

Frequently asked questions

How do I split an Amazon FBA label sheet?

Drop the sheet PDF into the Amazon tab and press Split all labels. The grid is detected from the white gutters and every label becomes its own page.

Will FNSKU barcodes still scan?

Yes. Labels are cut as vectors and never re-rasterised, so barcodes print exactly as sharp as the original. Print at 100% / Actual size.

Can it split by ASIN or FNSKU?

Yes — Split by product reads the code printed on each label and produces one PDF per product.

Which grid sizes are supported?

Any regular grid: 24-up, 40-up, 2×7 and others. Rows and columns are detected automatically, with a manual override in More options.

What label size should I print for FBA?

Amazon accepts roughly 25×48 mm to 51×102 mm. 50×25 mm thermal stickers are the common choice in India.

Does it skip empty labels on a part-used sheet?

Yes, blank cells are skipped by default so you never print empty pages.
